Mumbai, March 25, 2026:
Setting a powerful example of youth leadership and social commitment, Suraj Suresh Kute, Founder-President of Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation, spearheaded a grand blood donation camp at Mantralaya, Mumbai on March 18, 2026. The initiative was successfully conducted in collaboration with the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).
With a clear vision to address the ongoing shortage of blood and ensure timely support for patients in need, the camp was organized with a strong sense of purpose and social awareness. Inspired by Suraj Kute’s leadership and dedication, the initiative received an overwhelming response from citizens, youth, social activists, government officials, political leaders, police personnel, and dignitaries.
The camp successfully collected 174 units of blood, including Cryo, Platelets, and Plasma. The effort was supported by the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC), with notable contributions from Neeta Dange.
The donation process was carried out under the supervision of experienced doctors and trained medical staff, ensuring complete safety and adherence to medical protocols. Donors were also provided with proper health check-ups and guidance.
Addressing the gathering, Suraj Kute stated:
“Blood donation is not just a responsibility, it is a reflection of humanity. A small act from us can save lives. If every citizen commits to regular blood donation, we can build a stronger, more compassionate ‘Surajya’.”
The event was attended by Suraj Kute, Bhupesh Sawant, Sanket Bobade, along with HWARF President Dr. Christine Swaminathan, Dr. Smita Gaikwad, Dr. Babina Sheikh, Raizen Swaminathan, Jayesh Oswal, Mohan Vaidande, Vinod Vaidande, Santosh Bhoite, Adv. Vandana Jadhav, and other dignitaries.
Officials from Mantralaya also contributed by donating blood, reinforcing the message of collective responsibility.
